2010 Mid-Continent Regional Convention

During the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th of June 2010, the Eastern Iowa Division (EID) will host the annual convention of
the Mid-Continent Region of the NMRA at The Crossroads of Eastern Iowa, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This convention marks the 60th Anniversary of the Mid-Continent Region.

This is the first time a Mid-Continent Region (MCoR) convention will be held in eastern Iowa.
We expect this to be a unique opportunity for modelers, exhibitors, clinicians, and vendors to gather in
one convenient location for fellowship, education, fun, and a chance to obtain those latest must-have items!

Featured in this convention will be:
- three days of clinics
- model judging, contest, and display
- 100-table train show with early-bird exclusive access for convention attendees
- multiple scale layout tours, including club and garden railroads
- prototype tours
- industrial tours
- 3-hour excursion on the Iowa Interstate Railroad (limited seating) *
- awards banquet
- printed local railfanning guide
- silent auction
- non-rail activity and sightseeing guide
- state of the art convention facility

For insurance reasons, you must be an NMRA member to attend the
convention and go on the tours and excursion.
For those who are not NMRA members, the registration form includes an optional NMRA Rail Pass,
which will register you as an NMRA member for 6 months and
enable you to experience all the convention has to offer.

Non-NMRA members are invited to attend the train show.

not ADA compliant and thus are not handicap accessible.

The Mid-Continent Region has over 1200 members, and includes:
Arkansas, the part of southern Illinois around St. Louis, the southern half of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
